I seem to be having a bit of a problem with messenger. What I go on the net it connects even if it not in the taskbar. What I try to exit it it tells me that some other application is using it. I know it's not outlook express. It must be internet explorer. Can someone help me fix it? Please?

I had that problem
I was running Norton Antivirus 2003 and in its settings it is default to scan MSN ... if you uncheck that option it will let you close it without an error

There's your answer. Renzoukuken said it correctly. The new NAV 2003 includes instant messenger scanning (extended virus protection).

You may have to check and uncheck the box to stop norton from hanging on to it. I had to do it twice on my machine.

Ep, glad to see you come back and tidy up...did want to ask a one day favor, I want to enhance my resume , was hoping you could make me administrator for a day, if so, take me right off since I won't be here to do anything, and don't know the slightest about the board, but it would be nice putting "served administrator osnn", if can do, THANKS
