Memory Setting: Programs or System Cache?

I have used each setting and can't tell any difference.

I am interested to know what setting people are using and why and any benefits noticed.

Most people would be best leaving it on applications, your not gonna see any real difference, the only time it should be set to system cache is if you are running a server and most of the memory would need to be dedicated to system calls and such,
