Memory boost program

What memory add-on program are you guys using if any. Have any of you guys experienced memory drain going from games and back to your desktop and into other programs. What would you suggest, or should I let XP Pro figure the _hit out on its own.

A simple solution to your problem... get more RAM!
IMO, I don't bother with any memory boosters or the like, probably just make things worse.

I'm running 320 on this one. Good idea though with the new memory hogging games..

Ditto. XP does a good job of managing it's memory resources. Apps that free up memory only move resources to the pagefile, slowing everything down in the process.

I've heard of this one before. Don't you think it would contribute to an overall slowdown as well, since DLL's would need to be re-loaded each time an application is restarted?

I have XP (home ed) with 512Mb RAM but I also use Memory Boost Pro to retrieve used RAM after playing games (online & offline) and have had no truble at all!!

Nice tweak Enyo

I believe (although I could be wrong ) this prevents explorer from getting too bloated.
If the dll is not in use, but needed soon after, the cache should hopefully help out.
Failing that, the time for a dll to load is negligible, compared to the memory that
can be saved by unloading files that are no longer needed.

Any memory clearing program's gonna purge these anyhow.

I find logging off then on again is a quick way to purge explorer
if it gets too big, but I think i'll give Enyo's tweak tip a try.

Windows XP does a really good job of releasing and allocating memory as needed so you really do not need a program like this, but if you really insist to use one:
