Well general election is on the horizon, each day goes by I get even more frustrated, crime rising, Schools selling their playing fields for housing to meet costs, community charge rising, stealth taxes on the increase, NHS has more problems, M.P.'s get a payrise 2.8% above inflation, etc...

So I voted Tory in the 90's as I wanted to stop the socialists running my ward, at the time was Alleyn, 383 votes cast Socialist held on.

I admit, I don't like any of them they're like that question you hear, 'why do they call Chicago the windy city'? Answer coz the politicians are full of hot air.

It seems the only ones that are making a go of life in the U.K. are the wealthy and the ones that sit on their backsides and let us pay for them.

Rant over, You add your Poll vote, if you have a particular opinion please add it then maybe I will get some sanity back and not think I am the only one going stir because of this government.

It's not that I don't give a toss (and will prob go the same way as my parents ... whether it is their usual conservative, or labour due to current contracts that we have running) but I am not really giving it a great deal of thought.

Yeah,my family would be sent back to Wales and hubby's would be sent back to Ireland
Hmm i've got the welsh dad and the irish mother :) the best type of family heh

But yeah, I'm sticking with labour methinks. I like good ol' tony, and isn't it true that Bush has refused to talk to michael howard on many occasions?

What would things be like if conservatives win?

[Edit] Not sparking a political debate whether we need the backing of the americans here.. just saying, it's the best alliance we've got - better keep it going [/edit]

Hmmm BNP; more overzealous.

I mean, hell they'd send my dad home for being welsh
They're also likely to get rid of anyone who is not originally from England - ie. non-whites. (no intention of being racist).

If that did happen, England would be very empty. :p
