I'm back on Vista 64 bit (SP2) until they fix the animation-stutter\lag bug I have whenever opening or closing windows\apps in Win 7.

I'm back on Vista 64 bit (SP2) until they fix the animation-stutter\lag bug I have whenever opening or closing windows\apps in Win 7.

I never had an issue with that on windows 7. It runs great for me ...

I never had an issue with that on windows 7. It runs great for me ...

Same, I don't recall a bug with the animations.

Granted I typically disable all the open/close and slide animations anyways (waste of time to me ) but when I had it running on a fresh install, didn't notice any issues.

Yeah I know,there aint many with the bug. Funny tho, the few that have the same issue all have quad cores..almost like it aint optimized for newer rigs. Wierd. Anyway, I saw a possible fix for it, but I am happy with Vista SP2 ATM

That could be what it is. You would think that it would work with something like that.
