Really? Ubuntu was extremely simple when I tried it. Detected and installed drivers for all my hardware, and there were GUI tools for almost everything.

Simple is not what I'd call it. "Add this repositiory and install these packages to do this" okay I think follow the destructions to the letter...nope wont play back to the website "oh you have to add this repository and install these too then" okay...apt-get says no such repository...

Give me freebsd any day
