is there a way i can get my cd burner to run at its fullest capabilities such if i have a 12x12x24 then how would i get my system to run the burner at 12 without issues such as buffer issues and other problems ?????/ hope the question is stated properly

That depends on your computer specs first of all. A few tips outside that:
- Keep hdd and burner on separate cables.
- Make sure both hdd and burner is running DMA mode and not in PIO mode (if they can).
- Make sure the software is using buffer underrun protection (like BURNproof).
- If it's close on the buffers, don't do anything while burning.

another thing often overlooked....even do it myself sometimes:p

make sure the media is rated the same or higher as your burner

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
