Max Payne Probs.....

I can get into Max Payne normally but when I start a new game, it gets halfway through loading the first map and suddenly quits straight to desktop.....
I didnt get this problem at all when I had my Geforce 2 but now I got a Geforce 4 it doesn't like it at all....
Can anyone shed some light on the situation?

try saving your saved game files and reinstall it

change your resolution to soemthing else.
get the latest patch

yea always first try to find an update or something for it. there was a problem with loading some where on train station , when the door wouldnt open. had to update it.
