Mass Renamer?

Hi,
I'm looking for programs to rename the masses of my unnamed game screenshots? Any suggestions?
Also looking for GIF animating programs or complete GIF workshop programs. Thanks.

i use shelltoys xp for the mass renaming and gif movie gear for all my animated gif needs.

Highlight all the files you want to rename, hit F2. Rename the first file & all the others will follow with name (1), name (2) etc.
