Main Portal page?

When I come to the site, I expect to see the main news story catergory shown on the front page, But recently since the move I've noticed that the software section now comes up when I get there. Shoulden't the "Main" section come up first on the portal?

All news shows on the front page now, it's been like this for a few weeks now
