New ‘Learning’ Spam Tool added (CTRL – T, then select ‘Learning’).
Filters / Blacklist backup system added. Backups are stored in the MailWasher Pro
application data directory.
MailWasher Pro’s preview window will now display some foreign character sets

in the near future.
Blue checkmarks have been added to blacklist and friends list columns to match
the Learning column indicating emails already in those lists
Firetrust officially launches the FirstAlert! system to the public. FirstAlert! account
numbers & passwords are now included as part of the registration key for version
4.0 users and above.
New help system added.

Windows XP standby crash has been fixed.
Incorrect summary numbers that were being displayed after message logs
are cleared have been fixed
Removed duplicate sound event entries & changed the default sound to notify.wav
IMAP Sessions now escape " in passwords and enclose passwords in " marks.
POP3 should ignore POP servers that abort TOP listing during the headers if some
of the headers were actually listed.

Issue where mousing over the preview window would steal focus from other
applications should be resolved.

logs.
European format numbers that weren’t sorting right in the size column should now
display correctly.
Read only files in the application directory no longer prevent crash log directories
from being pruned.
Autodeletes that occasionally failed when a delete was queued to a session that
was quitting should be fixed.
Fixed interface issue with the Restore Email function where MailWasher Pro would
display the wrong message for emails that were completely restored.
The Pie Graphs in the statistics form will now use the user defined filter colours
when displaying filters.
Improved Hotmail Error handling.
Fixed caption error when user attempts to add duplicate filters.
If flagged to load on startup MailWasher Pro will now place a shortcut in the user’s
startup menu rather than in the registry.
SelectMailClient changed to take into account user settings as well as machine

Exception errors in Friends List import form should have been fixed.

Extended logging is now switched off if previously enabled. Users experiencing
problems with version 4.0 should enable extended logging once more.
Disabled the combining of SpamCop and FirstAlert! report column.

I bought mailwasher pro with zonealarm pro sometime ago. Mailwasher pro was i think version 3.3 at the time.

I have the same beta installed as you have before i installed V4.

It still says registered to me, it also allows me to check mail from 20 accounts I have in it.

So you can only try installing v4 when it finishes installation it says would you like to try it now, click yes.

Must be a free upgrade I spose. I am sure when Nick first created this at his site he said lifetime of free upgrades.

Dunno if he changed policy.
