Does any one know where win XP keeps the updates that you have downloaded or does it just spread them out like butter around your system depending on where they are required? (knacked my install last night good and proper after a long anti virus escapade and dont want to endure the 2 hours of downloads and reboots after install)

Well, it dumps mine here D:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temp

I just take them out and put them on another partition
