madcatz blaster guncon

i just bought this guncon for my time crisis 3 game and i realized when i got home that it says it is not supported by all HDTV's. i have a Sony widescreen HDTV..does anyone know if it will work for this tv?

EDIT:

ok i looked around on google and it seems this gun just goes crazy on HDTV's, so i personally would just return it, if all you have is a HDTV or that is all you use your xbox on.
