This was actually rather interesting....
I got this BSOD over and over when trying to install XP on a laptop for a client. The guy actually tried to fix it himself before giving it to me, and said he replaced the RAM, so that is out. For argument's sake, I swapped the RAM into the other bank incase he put it back in the same one, thinking the channel is bad. I also found that it could be due to overclocking, which I thought was strange since it's a laptop. But, after reverting the BIOS to factory settings, works like a champ.
Who overclocks an IBM Thinkpad A31? lol...
