I just reformat my puter and now when i shut it down, a popop appears saying that i have low virtual memory and that some programs may not work properly blablabla.

Where can i increase this memory and how much should i put ?
here's my spec:
PIII 450osaurus
256mb RAM

thx!

edit: maybe this thread should belong to Tips and Tweaks... sorry

edit-2: forget it, found the answer in tips and tweaks :)

right click on My Computer and pick properties from the menu, then goto performance and at bottom of window is button to set the pagefile, click this, then you can set the pagefile.

Its better to let xp manage its own virtual memory, but you can change it: right click my computer -> advanced -> 1st button -> advanced there you will find the option...
sorry if the buttons are named different have to translate from dutch

1) Go to System Properties - Advanced - Startup & Recovery Options and where it says Write Debugging Information change the setting to NONE

2) System Properties - Advanced Tab - Performance Settings - Advanced Tab again - what does it say for your pagefile? It's probably fine - the change in number one above should fix your problem.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
