hi all i am trying to do a reinstall on a toshiba satellite 2100cdt for a friend and it is showing bad sectors. i want to see if a zero fill could remedy his problems. any suggestions or utilities would be very help ful

thanks a lot

low level formats are risky. if you want to do one you will need a to find out the maker of the hard disk. their site will most likely have a utility that will allow you to do it

i checked its a toshiba drive but they dont offer any utilities. i used to have one called lysol but i cant seem to find it anywhere.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
