LOW colors on boot up

Hi, well my friends Pc is screwing up..
When he boots in SAFE mode.. he can change the color settings.. but in normal mode.. he only has like 4 colors.. or I dont know what... and he can't change the settings in the display properties.... what can cause this?? It used 2 work fine...thx

theres a nvidia driver cleaner and instructions over @ www.guru3d.com in the download section.

If it is a recent problem try doing a system restore. If no go uninstall the driver for it, reboot, reinstall the driver.

uninstall the driver, this has hapened to me so i could only have upto 8 bit color.........dam that was bad , i just went into device manager, uninstaled the driver + rebooted. fixed the problem
