Low 3dmark2001 score

Hello,

Hmmm I think that my brand new laptop isn't running as well as it should. I am getting about 4500 on 3dmark2001. Its the brand new dell laptop in my signature (dlieb2) .... what do you think? if its not up to speed, what should I do? I already disabled services and starting applications I don't need. One more note: I ran the 3dmark2001 with no background applications.

Your laptop has a 32mb card?

Is that an AGP or a PCI?

Either way for a 32 mb card I think 4500 is about right for that setup


If I drop a 32mb ddr into this rig I will get about 4500, With my Ti4200 128mb I am at 10300, Athlon 1800+768mb ddr running the cpu at 1.73GHZ

oh.... ok u r saying ur dlieb rather than dlieb2 rite?? i think it is normal for a 9000 radeon mobile, running 1.4 M

Damn. Oh well, I guess I will just play my good ol' games, not any of the top of the line games like Simcity 4.. oh well.
