Looking to upgrade!

i am looking to upgrade, but i need a few questions answered first..

1. p4 2.4ghz or amd xp 2100
2. 1.0gig of ram, what motherboard/processor can run on that
3200ddr, is there a big difference when using 2700 from
using 3200.
3. what would be the best the buy..

Please help, need good help.

i'm not aware of any 3200 ddr chipsets yet. but i havent looked much either. try looking at tomshardware.com for answers about your mobo.

regards to the cpu, it depends on what you want. if you want the cheap solution that works, go amd. if you want the a perfectly cool cpu that wont need much cooling, get the p4.

1gb ram is plenty

I recommend going for:
Athlon XP2100
Asus A7V333 motherboard - supports the 2700DDR
Kingmax 2700DDR Memory 1gig should do it nicely

I agree with Pady AMD, Asus, 2700DDR but, 512mb ram is quite sufficient. More than that right now is a waste.
