Hi Guys,

It was just told to me that Longhorn code was going to be open-sourced.

Even though I think that rumor is a crock, It would actully be nice to be able to configure Longhorn to my personal specs. I guess I am just dreaming.......

Even though Windows Longhorn will be riding on the new WFS Windows Filing System Format, open-soucring the code would be just marvelous with me.

Maybe 2 different types of Longhorn should be put up for sale, one completely setup for the regular user, just like XP. Another one setup as open-sourced for the crazy yahoo's over at NTFS.org to bump and grind with it.

I guess I am dreaming again..............

umm

considering microsoft's take on open source and how it's, you know 'satan' and stuff... I hightly doubt it...

"SLAP"

That's me slapping myself back into reality. Thanks for the wakeup call Alan.

LMAO Longhorn as open source! :D Bwahahaha.

Thanks Heeter, you're funny. ;)

That was funny, MS has that source locked up tighter than the Crown Jewels!

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
