Hi Guys,
It was just told to me that Longhorn code was going to be open-sourced.
Even though I think that rumor is a crock, It would actully be nice to be able to configure Longhorn to my personal specs. I guess I am just dreaming.......
Even though Windows Longhorn will be riding on the new WFS Windows Filing System Format, open-soucring the code would be just marvelous with me.
Maybe 2 different types of Longhorn should be put up for sale, one completely setup for the regular user, just like XP. Another one setup as open-sourced for the crazy yahoo's over at NTFS.org to bump and grind with it.
I guess I am dreaming again..............
