Alright,

So right now I have the Logitech Dual Optical Mouse. I'm considering getting the new Logitech Performance MX510 (Blue) Mouse when it arrives here in town. But a technician buddy of mine said that the Dual Optical is still faster based upon the types of "eyes" that it's using, even though the MX510 scans at 800mhz, and so he thinks I should keep my old one.

Has anyone else heard anything about comparing these two mice? Or good/bad things about either one? Inquiring minds want to know!

the best comparision is one performed yourself. if you don't like it save the receipt and return it promptly for a refund. also, if you are using the mouse for gaming and haven't already done so, look into upgrading your mousepad to one designed for gaming. it will help the performance of any mouse you choose to use.
