On the forum main page, is it possible to get a login button at the top of the page, please? Using Mozilla with cookies enabled I always have to scroll down to the bottom of the page to log in :(

Thanks for the backup, NetRyder, for a moment there I thought I had too much wine for lunch....

J, he meant the login box on the main page of the forums.

Oh, heh. Just login from the main page them LOL, that's what I do.

I seem to be permanently logged in anyways ... never had a reason to clear the cookies. :p

I don't clear the cookies either, but for some reason whenever I return to the site I have to log back in. I figure with IE you return to the site and are automatically logged in. right?

Yes. I believe NetRyder uses Mozilla tho.

I only logout at work since they are shared PCs. Don't need anyone logging in with my ID from work

Speedy - what are your experiences. When you open your browser and return to ntfs.org using mozilla, do you automatically log in? I don't! I have the form manager set, but I have to scroll down to the bottom of the page and press the LOGIN button.

Mozilla 1.2.1, i dont have to login. It's all cookied.
Perhaps you should try deleting your cookies/forms etc, wiping them completely for this site, then allow Mozilla to re-write/create them.

On another note, as far as i know http://www.ntfs.org and http://ntfs.org use different cookies, which MAY play a part in the problem.

Do you have the lifetime of your cookies limited?

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
