Logical Drives...??

Got a question.... I'm trying to Zero out my HDD and reinstall XP fresh. I'm trying to delete my partitions (in Fdisk) and format the HDD (from a:) but it keeps telling me that it can't because there are logical drives. I try to delete them and its telling me that they are not defined and won't let me. If I try to just Format the HDD from A: it keeps telling me 'invalid drive.....' . I did manage to delete the main partition. It was partitioned into 2-20GB drives. I'm lost..... Any help would be great........thx Travis

It's easy with partition magic. I'm only guessing this other way. Insert the xp cd & boot up. There is an option there at one of the screens to format. See if that will do it. If not there might be an option in fdisk to change the logical patition into a primary one. From there you should be able to format it & then change it back if youwant......I think.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
