Logging on to Windows XP problem

When I am logged on to XP (as Admin) I switch user (rather than logging out). Another member of the household then tries to logon but as soon as the password is typed in the Logon screen just returns again prompting for password once more, No error message at all.

If I actually 'Log Out' rather than switching, then this person can log on fine. Its as if the system is only permitting one user at a time to be on the system.

I have tried granting this second user Admin access but this has not worked either.

Any clues?

I am also having the same problem. I also tried granting this second user Admin access but this has not worked either. It is allowing only one user.
Can any one suggest me a solution for this.
