Log-on screen in Xp

Last week when I log on to XP i just had my password box visible. Now there is a message saying I have one unread email messgae..

I don't use MSN messenger for email...so I uninstalled the program. The message still apears however...and I just want my old login with password box visible not any stupid message?

Any ideas? please please please

Use Tweakui to remove it, just get the windows powertoys from the front page if you don't already have them
