I need to find a way that would prevent a user logged into my computer's regular XP account from being able to see the folder [Secret Account Name]'s Documents in My Computer. Is this possible? I just want the account to be invisible in My Computer. Thanks.

yeah, if u have windows xp professional just turn on the encryption and make sure ur partition is ntfs and they cant access it

I know how to use encryption, but my problem is actually making the folder invisible when My Computer is opened. Does anyone know how to do that?

You can go into folder properties and make the folder hidden. Unless the user knows how to changer your folder options to view hidden folders, they will never know it is there.

or you can use a third part proggy like "Encrypted Briefcase Personal" (h@@p://www.y0ys.com)

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
