Hi Guys,

I would like to know a good how-to on how I can lock down my Linksys 11B router. The manual is not too helpful with this. I have two computers on my network setup.

Thanks in Advance

Are you referring to a 802.11B wireless router? There is no linksys product with such a code.

They are quite advanced documents but you get the idea ;)

Basically from a little wireless router you want to activate MAC Filtering, change the SSID, disable SSID broadcasts and use WEP and IPSEC. You also want to use a strong admin password and change the SSID every month or so.

Little bit from linksys:

Thanks Enyo,

U pull through again!!

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
