You can hide a drive and prevent access to its contents by doing the following in Windows Xp:
Goto Start--> Run. Type in "gpedit.msc" (Assuming you have xp pro)
Now in Group Policy Editor:
Goto User Configuration --> Administrative Templates --> Windows Explorer.
In the list Enable "Hide these specified Devices..." and "Prevent Access to drives.." and select your drive.

Although this setting will make your drive to appear locked; an experienced user might still be able to gain access to it!

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
