Locating a Dragon Naturally Speaking Preferred v8.x Serial

I replaced a laptop for a user who has this product installed on his old machine, which I can still access, and wants to install it on a new laptop. He had the box, the CD and all other documents, but we can't seem to find his CD key. I looked around in the registry in normal places but didn't find it, and I couldn't easily get in to look at his Help - About menu. Was just wondering if anyone has this software and can help me ID where the s/n may be on his current machine?

I was going to contact nuance but it costs $10 to ask them a question. I'll probably end up doing that, but wanted to ask here first. Anyone have the software who can help?
