i just said dont start to post about how nec makes the best everyting in a sarcastic way, and it wasnt only us just to let u know it was many others as u can see again in this post that are reccomending nec, i dont want to start anything again thats why i mentioned u.

If you dont want to start anything then you do not mention me in the first place and again all you do is push nec because someone else said nec , lot's have said lite on so what , next time leave me out of your posts period do not mention my name that way you wont have started anything.

how many companies make mechanisms anyhow? Panasonic, LG-Philips and?? I know Sony definatley do not make any of the hardware they sell optical wise.

Hitachi (Have occassionally used LG and vice versa)
LG
Panasonic
Samsung
NEC
Pioneer (have used rebadged drives)
BenQ/Phillips

You will find that all of these manufacturers have main optical mechinisms made by one of the following:

Mediatek
Sanyo
Phillips
