linux screen help

i have been using l RH linux8 for several months now and i've noticed that my screen is not 'centered'. i boot linux along with windows so when i adjust the monitor manually in linux, it will be the windows screen that will not be at the center.

the screen is about 0.5cm to the right.

can anybody please help? Tnx!

do you have exactly the same resolution and refresh rate for both o/s's

yes they do have the same resolution. not so sure where to find refresh rates in linux. i have 85 Hz on win
