Linux newbie

I've got a old P2 350mhz just laying about doing nothing at the moment and I thinking of installing linux on it, but I have never used linux before. So which version of linux would ok for a linux newbie like me?

Some people may say that these distro's aren't any good (COFFLindowsCOFF), but at least they are easy :happy:

Start off with Lycoris Desktop/LX (www.lycoris.com) - looks a lot like Windows XP, Mandrake (www.mandrake.org) or RedHat (www.redhat.org)

As you get used to it, move onto something better like Slackware (www.slackware.org) or Debian (www.debian.org)

Oh yeah, as SpeedY said, Xandros is there too. It's supposed to VERY user-friendly, but it costs 100 bucks! Bummer :huh:
