Q. I am not able to get to the web configuration screen for the router, what can I do?
A: You may have to remove proxy settings on your Internet browser, e.g., Netscape or Internet Explorer. Or, remove the dial-up settings on your browser.

That is the answer found on Linksys website for my problem. But how I can do that?
If I disable gateway connection I am able to access web configuration screen for the router but I don't have connection to the Internet.
With gateway connection enabled everything is fine BUT I can't access web configuration screen for the router and I can't get update for Windows XP from Microsoft. I get that screen with "scan for update", I "click" on it and that counter for "available updates for your computer" remain at 0%.

You should not be using proxy at all. I think there is a malconfiguration in the router.

you shouldn't need any proxy settings behind a router..

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
