i need to disable acess to control panel for a limited aount user. wich just goes by "user" and not "guest" also i want to deny access to folder options. and prevent it from being able to add/remove buttons from tool bars. how can i do all of this in my xp pro windows?

To do this, you will need to setup a policy. This can be done by:

Run --> MMC

Then choose Add Snap-in. Choose the one that says group policy.

Be warned. Anything you set in the local policy will effect all users, not just the limited account.

The best way to get around that is to run a domain. This requires a server software such as Windows 2000 Server (or Advanced Server), Windows NT, or .NET Server.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
