LG or Lite-On DVD

Hey kids, it's new hardware time again. My cheap Delta DVD drive is dying, it makes very strange grinding noises (I've already taken one back) and it won't detect that there's a cd in the drive half the time. My question is, should I get an LG or a Lite-on DVD drive? I've heard the Lite-On is a bit noisy and takes longer to spin up than the LG. I'm looking for something that's not gonna crap out on me. Both are around 40 bucks on newegg.com. Any experiences with either drive?

I know nothing about the "light-on" dvd, but I use the LG one , and it works just fine (Its in use for a year or so).

Lite-on definately, one of the few writers out there that copy and read any cd (with the right software e.g clonyxl)
