LCD monitor no power

No power on the LCD Monitor Sony CDP L141 !! I've tried changing the adapter to the same voltage, but it won't work.Is there a fuse somewhere ?? Sorry, I don't have the manual.Need help or where could I buy the psu ??

ever thought of phoning sony in your country and requesting a replacement manual?

is this a Japanese manual? Is that any good to you? I think you may need to contact Sony - or one of their dealers.... seems each TFT maker uses different power connectors to me - chances are that Sony may all be the same - if you know anyone else with a Sony monitor you could ask to borrow their power transformer to check if that works, maybe.

Okay, I got it done this time.I ' nicked' a power supply off my router but it's a 15v.Would it affect the monitor in the long term because of the extra 3 volts ??
