Laptops and video cards

K, I got a question: Is there ANY way to get a new video card for a laptop? My friend told me he upgraded from 16mb to 64mb for $200 bucks on his laptop, but it turns out he called them after he placed his order but before they shipped. I obviously thought he meant he had upgraded later on, so I bought my laptop with a 16mb card. So now i'm sitting here with a 1.0GHz laptop with 512megs of ram and a 16mb video card

Well the only idea I've got is call who ever made ur laptop and ask how much it would cost to have them upgrade the video card as much of a pain that might be its bout the only way. Well to be honest I've never seen a laptop video card for sale like the ones u see for desktops. Well I hope this at least helps u.
