I have a laptop and a desktop...my desk in my room is kinda small, I can have my laptop or my desktop(with the monitor) I want to be able to use my laptop as a monitor for my desktop..is this even possible?

It is not possible as far as I know. There isn't any sockets where you can plug your pc into the laptops screen.
However, you there is a VGA (output only) socket in which you can connect your laptop to a desktop monitor. But that's about it.

He means a port on the laptop to connect your pc graphics card to, ie a video in socket.

or if they are both xp pro's use remote desktop, failing that then use VNC

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
