Laptop Stop Error XP

HI,

I have windows xp installed on my Tiny mediabook Laptop, PIII - 1000MhZ, 256 Ram.

Every so often usually every 30 minutes I get a blue screen error. It does not appear to be when any USB devices or any devices are plugged in and just appears to be random.

Then only thing I can think of is that the drivers for the screen are not up to date.

I think I have updated them, but can anyone help with links to any stop error sites, or how to debug the memory dump, etc.

It is driving me crazy as I cannot really use my laptop.

Anyhelp would be appreciated
Gene

debugging the dump file

Hey zman thanks for response

how to i debug the memory.dmp file, i think i need some symbols or something.

I mean i need to find out what is crashing my pc, but not sure how to do it. Do you know of any websites?

what s the stop/error code you get on your blue screen error? that will narrow it down somewhat to the culprit.

stop error

The stop error changes every time the memory address is never the same.

The error is normally IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

but varies a hell of a lot.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?

Impressed you have kept this alive this long EP! So many sites have come and gone. :(

Just did some crude math and I apparently joined almost 18yrs ago, how is that possible???
