ladp directory

I've just upgraded from office 2000 to office xp and now every time I start outlook I get this box popup asking for a password for ladp directory.

WTF is this ?

I've narrowed it down to being part of the mapi system, I've found it in the custom setup but theres no option not to have it !

also, it won't save my passwords for email

just a thought can you back up your pst file...if so just uninstall it and reinstall...rule of thumb with all m$ products do a fresh install...I del office 2k and installed office xp no probs...

Hmmm, did as you suggested, I've got rid of the popup box but it still won't remeber passwords.

actualy, it will remember passwords, but only while outlook is open, as soon as you close it, it forgets

Found a fix on microsofts website, it didn't !

So I've had enough, I turfed off outlook xp and put outlook 2000 back on.
