I was wondering if there is a program out there for keeping a journal that could be put on a thumb drive and is free.

Notepad or a host of GNU products.

I assume you have more requirements than just keeping a text document?

The U3 type thumb drives actually have the ability to boot and run their own set of applications. Google U3. Personally I consider these drives security risks / spyware and don't recommend them.

yes I want more than just text files want to be able to "index" them in some way. I formated it right away to get rid of the google stuff.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
