Should i be unable to get my XP working again, I was going to install over the current version. I have done this once before....however I could not open my password protected directories...

..Is there anyway around this, because I have alot of data i'd rather not loose a second time!

Well its not encrypted, i'll try and explain...

What it is, is that when you password your computer when you install XP it blocks other users from looking in these directories, well is there a way around this so I can access these with my new installation i'm goner have to perform??

Pro or home? if its Pro and you have admin rights you can right click on the folder and press properties then on the security tab add you user name... you might have to do it in safe mode

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
