heres what i have:

MessageDialog(null, "If you borrow" + response1 "\nat an interest rate of " + response2 "\nfor " + response3 "years, you will pay" + inpaid "in interest");

now, it doesnt work. i don't know why. i get my error reports when i try to compile, but theyre not helping figure out what im doing wrong. i'm not asking for someone to fix it and do my homework for me(unless you want to), but some pointers, or a link, or something. i'm not getting it from the chapter i've read like 4 times.
