Am I missing something?

First hit on Google:

[ame=http://download.cnet.com/Free-POS-Software/3000-2067_4-10920543.html]Free POS Software - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com[/ame]

Note this one is intended for bars/food/hotel type businesses. There seem to be a lot more and other pay programs that are only a few hundred.

I googled
"free point of sale windows software free"

I googled
"free point of sale windows software free"
man I googled that and all that came up were free systems that wanted you to use their credit card agencies

thanks for the link

I think I found something better though, a company that is giving me all the hardware with quick books pos for the same price I would pay for the hardware

still I am going to download this program and see if it's got what we need for our business
