Is It Worth It?

Im currently a senior a IST program at a 4 year college (bach of science). I have 2 1/2 years of in house work experience for two fortune 500 companies.. ( 2 years in one and 1/2 in the other (intern). Im wondering if a A+ is usless to me. Any ideas? Only cert i hold is in Excel and Access.

If you already have a job, like full-time, which is what I think you started recently, I would talk to them specifically about any certs you could achieve to further your status/progress there.

The good thing about that is they may point you in a different direction, something you didn't think of but could help you. That is, if you want to be there for awhile.

Generically though - the A+ is great to have because it's recognized by almost everyone as an Industry Standard
