iPhone jailbreak and 3G

I've jailbroken my touch many times and prefer it that way ... my question is ... if I jailbreak my iPhone, will 3G still work? or do I have to settle for Edge? ... I'm on AT&T.

I would guess 3g would work. Cant see why it wouldnt tbh.
I am thinking about jailbreaking my 3g iphone as well.

I know a handful who have without issue amd some where they bricked their 3g and had to re-flash with the original firmware. the 3g still works

I guess it depends which program you use to jailbreak your phone.

3G would work. If you want to unlock your iPhone 3G you can also use the yellowsn0w software to unlock. Apple also released the firmware 2.2.1 update for the iPhone 3G yesterday so if you want to jailbreak your iPhone 3G then you may want to hold off for a little bit longer until the new jailbreak software for it is released.

itunes will quite happily brick your iphone for you as well 🙁

Numerous times I've had to do a full reset of the 3g after a failed itunes firmware update...
