iPhone 4 hits verizon today.

As title says: As of today, you can officially get the Iphone 4 with Verizon. You can not surf the web and talk at the same time on it, though. I am wondering how this will turn out.

Gonna be alot of sad Verizon iPhone people when iPhone 5 comes out (or announced in March as rumor has it). Also funny that so far iPhone hitting Verizon has been less then impressive. [If you need proof -- just look at this thread]

Yup, I agree, Xie. I haven't gotten one yet because I am waiting for the iPhone5 in white. I am also not going with Verizon, I hate those people.

Well truth be told while its good that you can either get with ATT or Verizon. Verizon and Apple should have waited and launched the Iphone 5 instead of iphone 4 int he middle of its product cycle.

Now that said I still fail to see whats so exciting about the iphone, other then its sightly more useful the ipod or ipad

It was the best phone around, until these new android phones starting eating it's lunch.

My main reason for wanting it is because it will work better with my mac. From research, a droid won't "Fully" work with a mac.

It is also like this: I want an iPod and a cellphone, but don't want to be carrying both around with me all the time, so an iPhone makes it the best of both worlds. I just hope the iPhone 5 doesn't have the antenna issues that the iPhone 4 had. I still think Steve Jobs was being a jerk in the whole thing.

What do you mean "fully work"? Any android phone will work just the same with your Mac (you may need to use doubletwist instead of iTunes). Also android has a media player built in and there are a bunch more you can download from the market to make it an "iPod".

I will have to look to see if there is any updates. My last check, I found that it won't sync all things.
