Hi. I was browsing the internet and in one site it had automatically installed its own search engine and some icons on my desktop and i don't know how to uninstall it. 2 issues : (1) I can't restore my PC using system restore, i tried it too from safe mode - what can I do to make this working again? (2) how to remove the NEW search engine? any list from the address bar when searched will go to a dead link page and when i click on the search tool bar, the new search comes out only. How do i uninstall the new search engine?
Thanks a lot.

sounds to me you have spyware. download adware or spybot and do the updates on either one of these programs. and run it.

or you can go to your add/remove programs and see if the names of thse icons are listed in the add/remove.

i ewould still get these programs. they maybe more than what you think is on your PC.

Ep, glad to see you come back and tidy up...did want to ask a one day favor, I want to enhance my resume , was hoping you could make me administrator for a day, if so, take me right off since I won't be here to do anything, and don't know the slightest about the board, but it would be nice putting "served administrator osnn", if can do, THANKS

Been running around Quora lately, luv it there https://tinyurl.com/ycpxl
