it's a firewall problem, disable it, and joy

thing is, I can't find what the issue is.

may uninstall and reinstall the thing from scratch

if I didsable the firewall, joy.

whoever if I dissable net work security, no joy, if I dissable system security, no joy, and if I dissable both no joy.

kerio has ad blocking for the trial period, which I didn't realize I'm in.

disable that and I have joy

K - the ultimate IE trick - you may already know it....

To reinstall Internet Explorer in XP (yes, you can ! heheh)

C:\windows\inf\ie.inf

Right click on ie.inf, and click install. It will prompt you for your CD (or point it at the I386 folder) ..... after reboot, new, fresh IE ..... baby.
